Covid-19 vaccine
Over the past week, a rumor reported the death of a citizen of Labé, after taking a vaccine against covid-19. A few days later, Doctor Kaba Condé, director of the Labé regional hospital, provided details.
According to Dr Kaba, Boubacar Diallo, a student, suffered from malaria. During his hospitalization at the Labé regional hospital, his death was due to this illness which he developed over a week.
“He was vaccinated on the 7th and he fell ill on June 10, he went to a clinic, it was on the 15th that we were called to pick him up, so I was called by the DPS who told me that there is a patient there in a clinic to really help them take him in the ambulance, I dispatched my ambulance and they left. He came, we did all the investigations, it’s not related to vaccination, it was really malaria”, comments collected by our colleagues at Espace FM.
