Coronavirus: psychosis sets in after the announcement of cases of reinfection by the ANSS!

Fifteen cases of re-contamination were reported by the National Health Security Agency, (ANSS), a few days ago. Between positive cases, contact cases, reinfection of the virus again, concern is spreading to society, particularly those recovered from the coronavirus who must deploy a great capacity to adapt.

We must dare to say it. This virus will still bother us for a while. People recovered but tested positive for the virus again, this mishap happened in Guinea a few days ago according to the ANSS, and this raises questions.

Is it possible to be infected a second time with the coronavirus after being diagnosed and declared cured? Failure to respect barrier gestures could be the cause of possible reinfection.

We do not know the duration of immunity from Covid-19

Tamba Jacques Millimono, epidemiologist at the National Health Security Agency, provides details: “Although we don't know much about this disease, we haven't always asked people to continue wearing masks whether you are cured or not infected with the virus, because we don't know how long immunity lasts.”

“Recovered people serve as great awareness-raisers, they know the disease, the reasons for it, while carrying the message of respecting barrier gestures, daily hand washing, especially wearing a mask and social distancing,” he advises.

Psychosis torments the mind of public opinion

Naturally, people are worried about what these new infections could mean for our chances of overcoming the pandemic. Only that the relaxation of barrier gestures - in particular the wearing of a mask - promotes the re-contamination of the virus.

“I assumed that once you have been affected by the virus and come out of it, you are safe. If before considering myself immune, I releasedrelatively the barrier gestures, since I have been informed that there are these cases of reinfections, I take rather seriously the wearing of a mask, in particular, " confides Boubacar Sanso Barry, editor-in-chiefledjely.comcured of covid-19, to whom we handed our microphone.

Wearing a mask can prevent new infections

There is growing evidence that asymptomatic and pre-symptomatic people are contagious. This is why the official and reasonable recommendations are to wear a mask, to avoid infecting other people, and to keep our distance, to avoid being infected.
